LeBron Raymone James (born December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio) is an American professional basketball player who plays small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. Entering the NBA as the first overall pick in 2003, he has played for the Cavaliers, Heat, Cavaliers (second stint), and Lakers, winning 4 NBA championships, 4 Finals MVPs, 4 regular-season MVPs, 19 All-Star selections, and 19 All-NBA selections (including 13 First Teams). He is the first player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists, and surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 2023 to become the all-time leading scorer (surpassing 40,000 points by 2026). He is also widely recognized as a social activist, education advocate, and media entrepreneur.
